Happy new year!

We just got back from our amazing vacation in Atlanta and our cruise to Cozumel. The cruise was super fun, I got to hang out with my family, my honey, and I got to eat as much as I could. It was the best vacation ever! I never get to see my parents and my brother, and it reminded me of how great they are. My brother is such a serious kid though - I remember that I was more laid back at his age. He works so much harder than I did though, which I think is good, but I hope as he gets older he can learn to enjoy life too.

So for me, the point of every vacation is exploring things I haven't see before, and FOOD. I love fooooooood... Specifically, the seafood they had on the ship, Fat Matt's Rib Shack in Atlanta, and Corky's in Memphis on the way home. There was also this amazing Korean restaurant in Montgomery, Alabama that had the most amazing beef spare ribs.

On new year's eve, hubby made a delectable yummies plate and we toasted each other with champagne. I didn't make a new year's resolution because I don't believe in an annual resolution for self-improvement; rather, I live my resolution every day: loving my hubby, appreciating my family and friends, working hard for my goals, thoroughly enjoying my food, working out like hell because I enjoy my food so much, and living life knowing I can do anything I put my mind to, and then putting my mind to it!
