Teach for America Institute is Done!

I landed in Atlanta yesterday, and while Ryan was at work/Institute I walked around the area near Georgia Tech. Do you ever notice that when you are on vacation, the people around you seem happier? It is not that they are happier, it is because you are happier. Also, the social and racial dynamic in Atlanta is amazing. This sort of thing makes me feel very happy to see everyone getting along. Tonight, we went to a place called Fat Matt’s Rib Shack, and it was so fantastic that Ryan and I each put away a half rack of ribs, and then together, a half chicken and a pitcher of beer, as well as potato salad, cole slaw, and sweet potato pie. The two of us are usually so health conscious, but we just could not resist! I challenge anyone to resist Fat Matt's. It was a delicious end to the Teach for American Institute. We plan on exploring Atlanta for a few more days, and then road tripping back home!
